The City of Seattle’s Accounting and Business Consulting (ABC) Program connects Seattle-based small businesses and nonprofits with consultants who specialize in one of three categories critical to organizational success: accounting and bookkeeping, business development, and marketing and branding. Participants receive up to 10 free consulting hours per category.
The program is designed to help historically disadvantaged small business owners and nonprofits establish and strengthen their accounting and financial systems, grow and expand their business operations, and create more opportunities for long-term wealth building.
I am proud to be an approved consultant in the ABC Program. I work with participants on:
- Accounting system design (or re-design)
- Accounting manual development
- Budgeting process support
- Financial report refresh and dashboard build out
- QuickBooks Desktop to Online conversion
- QuickBooks Online training
Eligibility Requirements
The ABC Program is designed for small businesses and nonprofits that hold a City of Seattle business license with a Seattle address and meet at least two of these three criteria:
- No more than $5 million in annual gross revenue
- No more than 50 full-time employees
- No more than two locations
